Fourth NPS Golf Day raises £5,500 for BIADS

The fourth annual golf day organised by NPS Barnsley has raised £5,500 for Barnsley Independent Alzheimer’s and Dementia Support (BIADS).

The Mayor of Barnsley Cllr Steve Green started the competition with a shotgun start, setting the nineteen teams representing local business off on the fairway at Hickleton Golf Club near Doncaster.

Local business involved this year included: Willmott Dixon, Strategic Team Group, Palmer Construction, Sanderson Building Services, Tomlinsons, Fortem, QCS Ltd, Keepmoat Homes, Barnsley College, Signature Flooring, MK Joinery, Henry Boot, Principal Lighting, Barnsley Premier Leisure.

Managing Director of NPS Barnsley Karen Temple said: “We are delighted that our fourth golf day has been so successful once again. I am extremely grateful for both the new and continued support we have had for this event from local businesses."

Linda Pattison, Chief Officer of BIADS said “BIADS is so grateful to NPS Barnsley for their ongoing support which is vital to keep our services alive. We had a fabulous day, everyone involved had a great time while raising funds to help us help those in Barnsley who are affected by dementia.”
