Apprentices, trainees and graduates

We are always on the look out for talent to grow and develop, and are passionate about supporting people to achieve their potential.

Apprentices and trainees

We understand that not everyone wants to go to University, and offer apprenticeships as an alternative route to becoming qualified in your chosen field.

As an apprentice with NPS, you will benefit from extensive training, real life work experience and the chance to study for a recognised qualification. You will be fully supported along the way and given exposure to a variety of experiences to enable you to meet your potential.

If you are interested in pursuing an apprenticeship with NPS, please e-mail: recruitment@nps.co.uk

Graduates

We can also provide a unique graduate experience which offers:

  • A successful and growing business and not so big that you will become lost in the crowd
  • Provides an opportunity for the breadth of experience required to become Chartered/Professionally qualified
  • A strong focus on talent and growing our own peopl
  • A flexible working environment.

Here's what  our apprentices say:

"The career path set out by NPS is very clear, with positive progression and a high level of support from everyone in the company. After two years of training funded by the company, I was promoted to an Assistant Building Surveyor. The great thing about studying and working is that you are able to gain 'hands on' experience and achieve qualifications at the same time. I'd recommend this route to anyone who is motivated, enthusiastic and interested in construction."
Alicia Lacey, Building Surveyor

Here's what our graduates say:

“I joined NPS in November 2016 after graduating with a master’s degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Liverpool. It was important to me that I felt the work I did was helping to make life better for people, rather than for the sake of earning money. In my time here so far, I have been working on a number of primary schools and have acquired great satisfaction in seeing the work I do help to improve the education of children.

I enjoy being part of a fantastic multidisciplinary team, from whom I can learn and gain a broad understanding of all aspects of property consulting. I am supported on a professional basis, with a structured programme and mentors to help me obtain chartership in two years. The flexible-working environment means I am able to enjoy a great work-life balance with little stress - so that I can partake in my hobbies and interests while also enjoying going to work!”
