NPS Group have helped Norfolk County Council to be recognised for the success of their "Make It Marham" public relations campaign. The 2010 campaign, with graphic design by NPS Group, helped to secure the continuation of RAF Marham as a valuable part of Norfolk's local economy.
Our graphic design team attended the annual conference and awards ceremony of the Local Public Services group of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR). The LPS represents communications and media professionals from public services such as local government, health, housing, and education. The prestigious event, hosted at CIPR's headquarters at Russell Square in London, took place on 13th and 14th October 2011. We supported the event by providing the design and printing of the programmes.
In the category of Media Relations Excellence, the "Make It Marham" campaign received a Highly Commended award. The CIPR commented:
"The County Council recognised the economic value of keeping RAF Marham in the county and orchestrated community and stakeholder supporters to maximum effect through a strong media partnership. There is no doubt that the response to the campaign from the public and local MPs contributed to a successful outcome."
