Our Hull office recently supported Caseworks, part of Hull Charity Case, by providing the necessary conversion works and catering equipment for their new café in Hull’s Guildhall.
Caseworks is a social enterprise business, providing valuable skills training and employment opportunities for local people with learning disabilities.
Café Quattro, which opened on January 13th, is a partnership initiative between NPS, Hull City Council, Caseworks and One Hull.
NPS converted two offices and an existing staff kitchen in the Grade II Listed Building into a café, store and catering prep room. In addition to helping unemployed adults and people with learning disabilities onto the first rung of the employment ladder, Cafe Quattro will be a popular source of sandwiches and coffee for Hull City Council staff working in the Guildhall and surrounding council buildings.
All profits from the venture will be re-invested into Caseworks, directly benefiting the Caseworks students.
