An Introduction to County Farms Estates

NPS Property Consultants are the managing agents for Norfolk County Council’s County Farms Estate.

The Estate portfolio covers 17,500 acres (7000 hectares) of farmland across the county of Norfolk that is let to over 220 tenants.

The Estate provides income to the County Council through rent paid by tenants and capital receipts from sales of surplus land and buildings.

In addition, the Estate is managed to provide:

• Opportunities for diversification, which enhance the rural economy.
• Improved biodiversity through the protection, maintenance and creation of environmental features.
• Public access through woodland and over farmland.
